Share the Season with us No 2: Pomander craft tutorial

Today's freebie is a craft tutorial on how to make a traditional Pomander decoration. These sweet smelling decorations were used to ward off bad air back in the day, but we think they make the house smell lovely and festive. The picture above shows the version made by Alex T from the London and South East team. Can you do any better?

For your chance to win a National Trust 1 day family pass, have a go at making a pomander, take a picture and send it to us before you wrap it up in foil and store it away for a week or so to toughen up. Share the picture with us on Twitter, and we'll pick our favourite to win the family pass.

Please tweet your images including our name @southeastn.
