Share the Season with us No 10: Sissinghurst cobnut tart

Our final recipe for you is for a delicious nutty tart from Sissinghurst that we think will go down well at a festive party. Here's our version.

The catering team at Sissinghurst know how to make the best of their local produce, and this recipe uses cobnuts, a great British delicacy, but if you can’t get hold of them, you can substitute them for another nut of your choice, such as pecans or hazelnuts.

Don't forget if you upload a picture of your version of this tart, you could win a National Trust 1 day family pass.

Share the Season with us No 5: Snowflake mobile tutorial

Snow, love it or hate it? We're big kids, and think snow is lovely! Here's today's freebie, a tutorial on how to make a snowflake mobile, so you can enjoy snow indoors too. (Yes, a mobile that you hang up, not a vehicle for travelling quickly over snow. Though we'd love one of those if you've got one going spare? )

It makes a great Christmas decoration, and is also a good way to use up any waste paper. You'll see in our version above that we didn't have any glitter, so it doesn't look as good as yours is going to!

So go on, have a go, and see if you can do better than us. Send your pics in to our Twitter and our favourite will win a National Trust 1 day family pass.
